Identity - Looking Forward
Senior Years. Main change - instead of blue shirts we wore white. And I still don't know how it works, but I felt more mature wearing one. I was still a kid, mind. Just turned sixteen on the night of our Year Ten Formal, so the after party was mostly me on my knees with various forms of alcohol being poured down my throat. As always, Jed was there, we somehow managed to find our way back to my house and pass out. Mum was pretty cool about it too, holding up my alcohol-stained shirt and only saying "so you had fun, huh?"
I want to take a sec to talk about my parents. The relationship with my parents now is fantastic, but it wasn't always so.

So I'd just started high school. Things were going to be better. Only they weren't. Not at first, anyway. I still got bullied, only they seem to have multiplied amongst themselves when I wasn't looking, but there were a new bunch of genuine people to balance out the bad. In this case, my circle grew to include Jed, Nicole, Tyra, Dan, Zach, Lachlan, Holly, Robert, Laura, Jack, James, Carl, Lindsay, Peterus, and probably a few more names I can't call to mind. And i know i say MY circle, but they were really just people who accepted me, and i still appreciate that, even now, when i haven't seen half of them for years.

She sprinted through the strange forest, the twisted trees casting fearsome shadows, roots and twigs tearing at her as she ran past. With no path to follow, it was all she could do to run in the one direction. It didnt matter where she ment, only the running mattered.
A small winged figure followed her, straining to keep up, trailing specks of golden dust. He seemed to be wearing leather armour, and carried a small sabre, but his messy hair and kind eyes made him a friend, her only friend in this lonely, desolate place. She caught othe

Problem Solving and You
In this world, there are many types of people. these can be simplified into three groups. The first group are those who come across a problem, shrug, complain a little about how things keep fucking up for them, then turn and walk blindy towards the next problem, as though thinking (and i guess they have a point) that sooner or later, they will stop running into problems and things will get easier for them.
The second group, upon encountering this problem, pull out their writing pad and mechanical pencil, drawing complicated blueprints on contraptions they could build and then utilise to remove the aforementioned problem. Eventually, they sol
What is LOVE, exactly?
Is it a happy emotion? A sad emotion? Just where the hell does it come from? You're barking up the wrong tree if you think i have the answers.
The truth? Nobody really knows. It's something that just.... happens. Like winning the lottery. Or a meteor hurtling from space and zeroing in on the spot you just happen to be standing on. It's just as exhilerating, and destructive. Hollywood loves the idea of love at first sight. What a fantastic ideal. How much heartbreak would be avoided if that was how it happened?
What do i know about love? More than most. Which just means that i know only one thing: Love is everywhere.

He dove off the last building, arms out stretched, legs together, racing the rain for twenty stories, then he tucked, just coming out of the flip in order to land, his legs bending into a crouch, the impact of his weight and speed leaving a small crater in the cobblestone street. As soon as hed landed, he was running again, weaving through the alleys, he was running so fast that the hood of his grey cloak slipped, revealing short, light brown hair. Left, right, he ran, jumping over bags of garbage,

IMPACT...forever.
Impact it hits me: How could I ever have thought that 'old lover' was my first love I was wrong, it was you always.
Impact it hits me: You make me so happy, when I'm with you I feel so much unbelievable happiness, as well as, I feel emotions I didn't know you could feel all at once.
Impact it hits me: When I'm not with you, you're on my mind consistantly.
Impact it hits me: I want to live in that first moment, the moments after, the future moments forever, because there moments with you.
Impact it hits me: You and I we've been through something intense.

So i notice that some people have actually read my... i suppose you could call them rants. So I'm thinking that if anyone really likes what i have to write about, maybe they could request a topic? So far they're only stray thoughts that i hold onto long enough to actually write something about, but it'd be good if somebody wanted a fairly neutral viewpoint on, well, whatever. So to anyone who would like something written about whatever they like, hit me with inboxes, or comments. If i like whatever ideas you, the audience, come up with, I'll be sure to write something. And I'll mention you in the authors comments.
Ciao
I may have mentioned emotional armour... that's to guard my heart. what i didn't mention are the countless safeguards that protect my core. It's what most people would call a soul. Everything that makes me... ME. So what happens if i meet someone who bypasses those safeguards like they're nothing? Nobody's done that... And it scares the shit outta me. But at the same time, she is so amazingly perfect... if only she could see herself through my eyes...
Everytime I lose someone, I rebuild my emotional armour in such a way that theres no possible way she could get through. So what a I supposed to do if another girl comes along and sweeps aside all my defences like they're nothing? I'm standing at the cliff again, and hey, what the hell - I'm jumping again.
So when i'm lying in my bed,
Thoughts running through my head
And i feel that love is dead -
I'm loving angels instead.
Angels - Robbie Williams
It's scary and exciting how quickly she's become my whole world
